The convenient forum of a roundtable discussion allows you or multiple members of your firm or organization to participate from your office or boardroom—all you need is a phone and internet access. Instructions on how to dial in for the program as well as the URL for accessing the roundtable discussion materials will be emailed to you. Roundtable discussions closely resemble mini webinars. Speaker(s) present on a given topic and supply an accompanying PowerPoint presentation and agenda that is made available online to registered participants. Roundtable discussions are typically an hour long and are a benefit of an enrollment in the sponsoring Practice Group (please note that not all Practice Groups sponsor these events); registration is required.
Important Registration Details
Registration for these calls is free to the members of the sponsoring Practice Group(s) as well as government, academician, public interest, solo practitioner, student, or retired members; all other members may register for a fee of $50; no CLE credits are available.
Live Show
Conducting a roundtable discussion requires the use of special software that allows the speaker(s) to deliver an interactive presentation via the Internet. Participants will be able to download materials ahead of time and will also be able to view the speaker's PowerPoint slides during the conference, all while listening to the audio through their telephone. To test your computer's compatibility before the session, please conduct a
browser test to see if Flash is installed on your computer. If it is not, please download the Flash player onto the computer on which you will be viewing the presentation.
Materials and Recordings
If you are unable to participate on the day of the roundtable discussion, MP3 audio recordings and materials are available to the members of the sponsoring Practice Group(s) following the program. Notification of their availability is sent via email.
If you have questions regarding any of the roundtable discussion listed on this site, please contact the Practice Groups staff.
