With federal authorities placing increasing emphasis on detecting and eliminating Medicare fraud, long term care providers must be prepared more than ever for increased scrutiny of their coding and billing practices. Join us for a special luncheon program featuring Dr. Steven Lack, supervisory special agent (retired) for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Office of Inspector General (OIG), Office of Investigations (OI). Dr. Lack will discuss how Medicare fraud investigations have changed over the years with evolving technology and how those changes affect providers facing an investigation.
